This is the best retriever I’ve ever used. I’ve tried Kwik Sticks, Golden Triangle, and the DD retrievers. This is by far the best. Gets your disc back asap and it always impresses the rest of the cart. Don’t complicate things, get this retriever and you will have the confidence to try to make it over the water obstacles. Even if you miss, you have the retriever to get your disc back. Buy one!

To start off, I have not even used the device yet, but I will still rate this 5/5. I moved to TX a few weeks ago and have been living in a hotel. Needless to say, the hotel gave me the wrong shipping address so when I ordered the retriever it went to the wrong place. The owner of the company worked really well with me, even to the point of meeting me at a local place and bringing me a new retriever (with no additional charge). I am so impressed with the customer service that I have to rate this 5/5.

Easily the best retriever on the market. The suction cups are VERY strong and require little effort to grasp onto the disc. In Texas, the edges of the creeks tend to have vines or debris that the disc will get stuck on with a normal retriever. The Max Disctance retriever allows you to lift the disc out of the water with ease and bypass all these obstacles. Great job!

I only give reviews if I hate something or love it. I love this thing. I’ve only had it a month and have already gotten my money out of it. The suction cups are quite adequate to pull my heavy (170-180g) discs out of the water. It also works great if you throw over a fence or down a steep bank. Much better than trying to snag a disc and beg it to come out like with the other type retrievers. Five stars for sure.

Was honestly a bit skeptical purchasing this and didn’t have a retriever before. But after using several other retrievers during rounds and having poor success, this is a GAME CHANGER. The difference between this retriever and others is night and day. Earned my money back the first time out after purchasing. If you are on the fence about buying this, buy it, you won’t regret it!

Cthulhu Wand Works!
Recently purchased this retriever based on a Youtuber’s positive review. We took it disc golfing this weekend and made two retrievals – one on dry land in a gulley that was difficult to reach, one underwater in a stream. The suction cups immediately and securely grabbed the discs both times. My partner referred to it as the “thing with the Cthulhu looking head” so we now refer to it as “Cthulhu Wand!” Jokes aside, this retriever worked well for us – highly recommended!
