General Care and Use for The Max Stick retrievers and The Max Stick Attachment

To use The Max Stick simply extend the telescoping pole to the required length and tap on the surface of the disc with The Max Stick attachment. The suction cups will grab the disc and then will allow you to pull the disc back towards you.

The Max Stick is not designed to withstand excessive force when fully extended. Ideal use is to be done pulling straight back once the Max stick attachment has grabbed the disc. The telescoping pole should not be swung in order to extend it. You should start by extending the pole at the end closest to the attachment first and then work your way back towards the handle. The user will be responsible for operating in a way that prevents damage and breakage to the telescoping pole. To help ensure longevity of the telescoping pole be sure to keep the pole clean and dry after use. Dirt and debris build up inside the telescoping pole can decrease to lifespan of the pole.

When you order The Max Stick that comes with the Max Stick Attachment it will be glued in place to the pole. Over time this glue may break down and the attachment may come loose. It is the responsibility of the user to make sure that attachment is securely in place.

When you order The Max Stick Attachment it is the responsibility of the user to securely attach it to their retrieving device. If you are to use another manufacturer’s pole we recommend using the securing lock nut to assist in holding The Max Stick Attachment in place as well as using Loctite or other bonding substances to help secure The Max Stick Attachment. The Max Stick Attachment works better when the attachment is wet, if you are near water it may be beneficial to dip The Max Stick Attachment into water before grabbing your disc to better secure it. Over time dirt and debris may collect on the surface of the suction cups and will decrease the effectiveness of The Max Stick Attachment, you should wash The Max Stick Attachments suction cups by hand using mild dish detergent to clean them and increase their effectiveness.
